Troubled Wake

He woke up with the bitter taste of being discarded from the history of the comittee still lingered on his chest. He got annoyed. Annoyed by two: the discard and by his own inability to trash the bitter taste.
He then concentrated, trying to circulate his chi. He din't know whether it's truly a way to manage the chi, but he knew that it worked somehow on calming him down. Later, the bitterness would come again, but already he had a way to make it pushed back deep into his soul. He knew that the only way to trash the bitterness for good is to talk his rage out to the comittee.
Such offense wouldn't be a wise thing to do because he might suffer from dreadful backlash if he did that. For now, the chi circulating will do, whether it's real or not.
Adhan called, it's time for him to get ready for another office day. He had never been able to love his office, and now, discarded from the comittee, he was beginning to hate his office. But he couldn't hate his office; a man needs a living.
